Central Florida was getting the brunt of our unusually hot weather. High temperature caused problems with my vegetable garden. Blossom end rot is obviously one of them. My Ichiban eggplant and some tomatoes seemed to have difficulty producing. They put out a bunch of flowers and then all of them dropped: (  Blossom drop is always caused by two main reasons: hot weather and lack of water. I tired deep watering the plant but still no fruit. Luckily, the afternoon thunderstorm started to occur frequently since last week. When I checked the Ichiban yesterday, there are a few baby fruits already!
